Zeem Solutions Customer edition

I am naming what I built.

And you should hear why from me first.

You chose Zeem for what I do. Now I am giving it a name that covers all of it, and opening more of it up to you. This is the story behind that, in two short parts: how I got here, and what the new Zeem means for you.

The way you work with me today stays as it is. What you can do with me next is growing.

Stays as it is

  • Your agreement, as you signed it.
  • Your team, and the people you call.
  • Your sites, and the 97%+ commitment behind them.

Opening up

  • The whole system, on one contract. Take as much or as little of it as you want, from trucks and power to financing, grants and the daily operation.
  • An as-a-service option, with the infrastructure on my balance sheet and one forecasted monthly cost, if that suits you better.
  • Insurance, a new part of the offering, with details on the way.
  • What comes next, built on top of what you already run.

How I got here. Three realizations, in the order they came.

You signed with a company that had already done its learning. In its own yard, not yours.

I started out running the thing I now sell. I opened the first shared fleet electric charging depot in the country, at LAX, and I have run it every day for more than five years. It is still the busiest fleet EV depot in the United States.

What I have referred to as the move from Zeem 1.0 to Zeem 2.0 came out of that yard. First operate, learn and prove. Then simplify, modernize and scale. Everything good that came out of those years is built into what you run on today.

01 Operate 02 Learn 03 Prove 04 Simplify 05 Modernize 06 Scale ZEEM 1.0 · WHERE I PROVED IT ZEEM 2.0 · THE COMPANY YOU SIGNED WITH No model to copy. No operator to learn from. Everything it taught me, productized.
Learned on my own site Built into your agreement

01

Build it in a factory, not in the ground.

Excavation and switchgear set the pace of a conventional build. So MyGrid is assembled and tested before it ships, set on a skid and installed in days rather than built over months.

02

Power keeps the utility’s schedule, not yours.

So MyGrid brings power in months, not years, on grid, generator or battery, and connects to the utility whenever the utility is ready.

03

The economics have to work at any size.

Not every yard arrives with a hundred trucks in it. So the structures are bundled and shared, which lets a fleet start with the trucks it has and add more later without starting over.

04

The cost of power is learned by delivering it.

Running my own sites and carrying the commitment taught me what power actually costs to deliver: distribution, demand charges, transmission and holding the uptime. So the costs you plan around hold, rather than surprise you later.

05

The site should outlive the equipment in it.

Charging hardware moves faster than a contract term. So I built platform-first, not around one charger, and your site moves with the technology instead of being stranded by it.

06

Charging is not the job. Mornings are.

So every site I deliver comes with the people who run it, monitor it and answer for it, at my depots and in your yard alike.

You were never anyone’s pilot. Everything you run on was proven on my own site first.

Then I looked up from the yard, and started charting what comes next.

Running a business well is not the same as seeing where it is going. Led by Paul Gioupis, my founder and CEO, I stepped back and reassessed the whole landscape: where fleets are heading, where gaps are opening, and which needs are forming before anyone has written them into a request for proposal.

That work became my next evolution, what I refer to as Zeem 3.0 and beyond, and it is built on top of what you already run, not in place of it. The platform that powers your fleet will learn from it: every charge, every mile, every asset becoming data, and MyGrid becoming the hub it all runs through.

Today, connecting everything is the promise. Zeem 3.0 is what will let me say full stack and mean it literally.

Zeem 3.0 and beyond

Every charge, every mile, every asset becoming data

MyGrid as the hub it runs through. Built to sit on top, not to replace.

What comes next
Zeem 2.0

Simplify, modernize, scale

MyGrid, managed operations, the depots, the financing and the funding. Everything you run on today.

You are here
Zeem 1.0

Operate, learn, prove

The depot at LAX, run every morning for five years and counting.

The foundation

The road will turn again. You should not be the one forced to watch for it.

There is no box I fit today, and no shelf for what I am becoming.

Trucks, power, site development, the yard run every day, financing, grants carried through compliance, insurance. All on one contract, with one company answering when the trucks have to roll. The market has a shelf for each of those pieces. It has none for all of them together.

THE SHELVES THE MARKET HAS CHARGING HARDWARE SITE DEVELOPER TRUCK LEASING ENERGY SERVICES GRANT CONSULTANT FLEET SOFTWARE TRUCKS · POWER · SITE DEVELOPMENT · DAILY OPERATIONS · FINANCING · GRANTS · INSURANCE on one contract, with one company answering when the trucks have to roll AND WHAT I AM CHARTING NEXT, WHICH NO SHELF WAS BUILT FOR EITHER WHAT YOU RUN ON TODAY, AND WHAT COMES NEXT TOO WIDE FOR EVERY BOX ABOVE IT

So the market reaches for the nearest label it has, and the nearest label says charging company. You may have felt that yourself, explaining to your board, your CFO or your largest shipper what you actually bought, and finding that the words available made it sound smaller than it is.

And the direction I am charting only widens the gap. If no shelf holds what I am today, none will hold what I am becoming.

So I am naming what I built. Here is what it means for you.

Four things carry the new language: the name for what you run on, the control you keep, the guarantee behind it, and the partner behind the guarantee.

Electrification-as-a-Service. Everything it takes to electrify a fleet at scale.

You have bought trucks the same way for decades: one signature, one bill, one company answerable. The traditional full-service lease earned that familiarity by doing one thing well, servicing the truck. So I borrowed the motion and left the baggage behind.

What I kept

The motion you already know how to approve

One agreement. One predictable monthly expense. One company answerable when something needs attention.

What I left behind

The baggage that came with it

An arrangement that answers for the asset and nothing around it. Rates that move at renewal. A service network run on the provider’s P&L and timeline, where a breakdown gets you a substitute truck rather than your own back on the road. And control that leaves with the signature.

The difference is what sits behind the signature. It covers the power and the daily operation, not just the truck. My people run the yard instead of sending a service truck to it. And you keep control of all of it.

EaaS: What it is made of

Six elements. One contract. One operator accountable.

The name for what you already bought from me. Take as much or as little of it as you want.

01

Zero-emission trucks

Matched to your routes, ordered at my volume, managed through the end of term.

02

Power & charging

MyGrid in your yard, charging in my depots. Power in months, not years.

03

Managed operations

Your yard or mine. Designed, energized, then run every morning after.

04

Financing

Own or lease, through my financing partner. Your capital stays yours.

05

Grants & incentives

Found, filed and carried through compliance, with no team for you to staff.

06

InsuranceNew

A new part of the offering. Details are on their way, and your account team can take questions now.

Truck-as-a-Service services the truck. Charging-as-a-Service provides the charging, and not the power behind it. EaaS covers all six, including everything the other two leave on your side of the fence.

What stays yours

  • Your capital, working in your business, not buried in concrete and chargers.
  • Your control. My depot or your yard, my team or yours, or any line you draw between.
  • Own or lease. Your call, on the trucks and on the infrastructure.
  • Your maintenance, in house if you prefer, where it costs less on electric than on diesel.

What becomes mine

  • The power project, from design to energization.
  • The operation, every morning for the life of the contract.
  • The funding work, fronted where programs reimburse after the fact.
  • The risk, priced by the operator with five years of data behind it.

Electrification fails at the seams. Here, the seams are mine.

Complete operational control stays with you.

You decide how much of the operation I run and how much your team keeps. Three ways it works today, all on the same commitment.

Your team, my backing

You run the yard

I stand behind it, on the same commitment, with the power and the support underneath it.

My people, your yard

I run it in your yard

My people on your property, run the way I run my own depots.

My depot

You bring the trucks

Everything else is already standing, and running every morning.

ZeemReady. Your tomorrow, guaranteed.

Every plan for your fleet assumes one thing so basic it rarely gets said: the trucks roll. ZeemReady is the name I have given to what I already do for you, run as one service, with one company accountable for the whole morning.

01

The day it goes live

The site designed, permitted and energized before a truck arrives. For me that is the first months of the service, not a project handed over at the end.

02

Every morning after

Charging sequenced against tomorrow’s routes, monitored and maintained, with a person your team can reach at 4 a.m.

03

Year ten

The year the decision is finally judged, and the one I am building toward with you.

5+ yrs

Continuous operation, 24/7/365

400,000+

Measured charging sessions

Class 1 to 8

Every vehicle class

97%+

Measured, the commitment you hold

What stands behind the name is not a forecast. It is the operating record behind the commitment you already hold.

The guarantee was never that nothing breaks. It is a name on who owns it when something does.

Your fleet is ready. So is the company you signed with.

Electrification is a decision measured in years rather than quarters, which makes the operator behind it as consequential as the equipment in front of it.

Profitable

Stability you can plan around

My flagship depot is profitable today. The company behind your agreement is built to be here for all of it.

Backed by ArcLight

Capital on your horizon

An infrastructure investor whose model is built around long-lived assets and long-term contracts. The same horizon as yours.

Five years in, I am building the next ten with you.

Fleet electrification, made real.

Zeem. Miles ahead.

What to expect from me.
