Paul Gioupis founded Zeem in 2017 and built his executive team out of the four industries this business has to run at once: corporate finance, commercial transportation, heavy duty fleets, and the infrastructure that has to be in the ground before any of it runs.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Paul founded Zeem in 2017 and pioneered the shared charging depot model for commercial fleets, opening the company's flagship site near Los Angeles International Airport in 2021. He spent two decades in corporate finance and investment before that, including early investing in commercial electric vehicles, and started Zeem to build the infrastructure those fleets would need rather than wait for somebody else to.

Chief Financial Officer
Mike leads Zeem's financial strategy, from the capital that funds depot construction and vehicle deployment to the structures that keep a fleet's monthly cost predictable. He joined Zeem in 2024 from A3 Energy, where he was chief financial officer, after more than fifteen years in energy infrastructure finance across pipelines, processing, terminals and trucking. That includes a variety of operating partner roles at ArcLight Capital and Tailwater Capital.
Senior Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations
Rick leads the development and daily operation of Zeem's charging depots and in-yard infrastructure, from design and permitting through energization and everyday performance. He joined Zeem the month its Los Angeles depot opened and brings more than two decades in medium and heavy duty vehicles across alternative fuel and electric operations, manufacturing and infrastructure development.

Senior Vice President of Fleet and Asset Management
Al leads Zeem's fleet and asset management: the vehicles, the terms behind them, and the economics that make an electrification commitment hold up across the life of the assets. He brings nearly 30 years in commercial transportation, including 14 years at Fleet Advantage and more than a decade at Ryder System, and is a Certified Transportation Professional.
