Rendering of the Zeem SeaTac depot with electric tractors in the charging lanes

Electric drayage for Seattle and Tacoma.

The funding, the truck and the charging, handled.

A Zeem depot on I-5 at SeaTac, between the terminals and the warehouses they serve. For eligible NWSA drayage operators, public funding can cover up to 90% of an electric tractor, and we file the paperwork.

01Funding

Up to 90% of the tractor, funded.

For eligible NWSA drayage operators, NWSA funds stack with the Washington WAZIP voucher. We find, file and report.

02Trucks

Electric Class 8, available now.

Buy with the funding applied, or lease through our financing partner. Tell us your loads and lanes and we tell you whether it works.

03Charging

A place to park and charge.

Enroll each truck on its own and pay for what you use, at a depot staffed and run by Zeem. Already have electric trucks on order? Charge them here. Have your own yard? We can charge you there too.

Three parts. One contract. One accountable operator.

NWSA selected Zeem to lead the first project in its zero-emission drayage incentive program.

For eligible NWSA drayage operators, NWSA funds stack with the Washington WAZIP voucher. The NWSA funds are already awarded to Zeem, so you are not applying and waiting for that part. You bring the trucks and the lanes. We do the applications, the reporting and the follow-through for the life of the award.

Funding figures are public program maximums, not Zeem commitments. NWSA funds are for NWSA drayage operators. Eligibility varies by operator; programs are first-come, first-served and subject to change. Funding windows close.

Chosen by the port. Proven at the busiest fleet EV depot in the United States.

The port chose Zeem in July 2025, backed by a $6.2M Washington State grant. The City of Seattle followed with $1.5M in truck incentives distributed through Zeem to local drayage operators.

What fleets ask us first.

The depot isn’t open yet. Why talk now?

Funding and trucks move first, and funding windows close: the WAZIP voucher is first come, first served. Every fleet that enrolls gets a written charging plan before its trucks arrive.

Do I have to apply and wait for the NWSA money?

No. The NWSA funds are already awarded to Zeem. We check that you qualify, file the WAZIP voucher with your truck order and track both through delivery.

Do I qualify for the NWSA funding?

NWSA funds are for drayage operators serving the Seattle and Tacoma terminals. Tell us about your trucks and we check eligibility for you, along with WAZIP and other Washington programs.

I’m not a port drayage carrier. Can I still use the depot?

Yes. Zeem SeaTac serves every commercial fleet, Class 1 through 8, and WAZIP funding is available whether or not you haul for the ports. The NWSA funds are for drayage operators.

I have my own yard. Can you help there?

Yes. MyGrid brings charging behind your own fence, and Washington utility and state programs help pay for charging infrastructure as well as trucks. Charge with us at SeaTac while your site is built.

Who does the grant paperwork?

We do, for every truck you enroll with Zeem. We write and file the applications and handle the reporting for the life of the award. You provide data and approvals.

Will an electric tractor pull my loads?

We find out on your lanes, not on paper. Tell us your loads and routes, and ask about a demo before you commit to anything.

Do I have to lease through Zeem?

No. Buy with the funding applied, or lease through our financing partner, subject to credit approval.

What does it cost?

It depends on your trucks, your miles and the funding you qualify for, so we put it in writing for your fleet rather than quote a list price. Enroll per truck and pay for what you use.

See if your fleet qualifies.

Tell us about your trucks. We come back with what you qualify for and the next step.
